Strata Flush Mount Lamp

Part light fixture, part ceramic installation.

Strata is a wheel-thrown ceramic flush mount designed to bring handmade pottery somewhere you don’t normally expect to find it, the ceiling. Its wide, shallow form is finished with overlapping sections of earthy brown, warm rust, soft cream, and exposed clay, with throwing lines left visible throughout.

Because the glaze was applied by hand, the transitions are loose and imperfect, allowing each section to bleed and move across the form rather than creating a precise pattern.

The ceramic piece is paired with black ceiling hardware for a clean, modern contrast and sits close to the ceiling once installed.
