Wheel-thrown with a wide, grounded silhouette and horizontal throwing lines left visible across the form. A dark metallic glaze breaks over the ridges, creating flashes of bronze and subtle iridescence against the deeper charcoal surface. The exposed clay at the base gives the piece a clean finish and a little contrast.
Paired with a low, rounded shade that casts a soft warm glow, Afterglow works as both a functional table lamp and a sculptural object.
