Hello, I'm Jose Mendez

I’m a ceramic artist based in Fort Collins, Colorado, originally from Puerto Rico. I started working with clay in 2024 and haven’t really stopped since.

Right now, I’m focused on exploring, figuring out my style through both wheel-thrown and hand-built pieces. Some are clean and functional, others are more expressive. A lot of it is experimenting with form, glaze, and seeing what works.

This is still early for me, and that’s part of the point. What you see here is part of that process, each piece a step forward.
