Midnight Raku Vase

A one-of-a-kind ceramic vase shaped by hand and transformed through the unpredictable nature of raku firing. Its angular shoulders and narrow opening create a bold, sculptural silhouette, while the surface shifts between deep midnight blue, smoky charcoal, and subtle metallic tones.

The textured finish and natural variations across the surface are created during the raku process, making the final pattern impossible to reproduce.

Please note: Unlike traditional raku vessels, this piece has been finished with a watertight ceramic layer on the interior, allowing it to hold water and be used with fresh-cut flowers.

The variations in color, smoky areas, surface markings, crackling and irregularities are natural results of the raku firing process and are intentional characteristics of this one-of-a-kind piece.
